Methyltestosterone is an oral form of the primary male hormone testosterone. The structure of this steroid is identical to testosterone, just with the addition of the methyl group at the c-17 alpha position to allow for oral administration.

Generally, this steroid is considered too troublesome as a performance enhancing drug due to the extent of the side effects.

Firstly, a high level of the hormone is converted to estrogen due to its aromatization to 17-alpha methyl estradiol. This comes hand in hand with water retention and fat retention making this steroid a no go for cutting phases.
