Laurabolin, Anabolic Steroid

Laurabolin is the commercial name given to nandrolone laurate which is an injectable form of the anabolic steroid nandrolone. This is an injectable steroid. 

The release time of this anabolic steroid means that frequent injections aren’t necessary. It is possible, due to the delayed release of the hormone from the site of injection, to only administer this drug once every three to four weeks in a medical setting.

As with all esterfied steroids, the design is to allow for a prolonged window of therapeutic effect following administration.  This sort of steroid would be ideal for patients not fond of frequent injections.

This steroid was first developed during the 1960’s when a lot of research was invested into nandrolone based esters. Most long acting esters are typically associated with veterinary supplies, yet this ester was approved in humans before in animals.

Nowadays, this steroid is mainly used in a veterinary setting as Organon, the manufacturers , put more emphasis on Deca-Durabolin and subsequently, Laurabolin took a backseat.

You can still buy steroids such as Laurabolin, however it is mainly veterinary drugs in circulation which dominate the market place.

When used for physique or performance enhancement, this steroid is generally administered in doses of 200mg-400mg taken once a week. This is sufficient to promote good gains in solid lean muscle, without excess water retention or fat retention.

Androgenic side effects will occur, but not to the same extent when compared to steroids like Dianabol. Bouts of oily skin and acne are common and deepening of the voice along with body and facial hair growth can be expected in women users.

There is always going to be an element of testosterone suppression when anabolic steroids are used in doses sufficient to promote muscular gains. Normal testosterone levels should return to normal within 2-6 months.

There are a few preparations still knocking about. Some old lots from Mexico could be in circulation following the big crackdown on in 2005. Other than that, some have been seen available in European countries and South America.
