Equipoise is the trade name give to the injectable steroid Boldenone Undecylenate. It was patented in the 1950’s by Ciba, but didn’t really become well known until the 1970’s when Squibb introduced the agent into the veterinary market. In horses it was used to increase lean bodyweight and appetite of the animal.
This steroid is a modified form of testosterone and comes in an injectable ester. As with Proviron, this steroid has a lasting effect from the time of injection. It slowly releases from the site of injection and only needs to be repeated once every 3 or 4 weeks.
The steroid has a good balance between anabolic and androgenic effects. High in anabolic nature, only slight androgenic effects exists. This wont exclude the user having bouts of oily skin and acne, but the anabolic properties are considered to outweigh the side effects. For this reason the steroid is greatly appreciated by many athletes.
This steroid is now generally only available on the black market where there are no guarantees over quality. Beware not to buy steroids with the label Solvay, as these are now considered fakes as the company has ceased production.
