Anavar Steroids

Anavar steroid also known, as Oxandrolone, is an oral steroid. This steroid was known for being mild in terms of oral steroids and was designed to promote strength and excellent muscle gains without the significant side effects. This is a favorite drug among bodybuilders as well as competitive athletes in speed and anaerobic performance sports.

The history of Oxandrolone was first mentioned in 1962 but later developed into a drug years later by the giant pharmaceutical company now known as Pfizer.  In this company they sold it in the USA and Netherlands under the trade name Anavar.  In other countries it was sold using different trade names such as Lipidex, Antitriol and Protivar.  Anavar was developed so it would even be safe for children and women to consume.  This has been successful, as Anavar has proved to be tolerated in men, women and children.

In the 1980s the FDA revised Anavar slightly to include the promotion of weight gain post surgery. Chronic infections, weight loss and trauma. In the late 80s Anavar was discontinued for sales as anabolic steroids were becoming popular and the company decided not to sell any anabolic related drug.  It was only 6 years later that Anavar appeared back on the US market and appeared as Oxandrin by BTG. This was used as a treatment for alcoholic hepatitis, AIDS and delayed puberty onset. BTG however began to sell the drug for very high prices which caused an outrage among patients, they were wholesaled between 3.75$ and 30$ a day. It is still sold today to promote weight gain post surgery, chronic infections or severe trauma.

The side effects of Anavar include oily skin, acne, and facial hair growth. When women take Anavar the side effects include deepening of the voice, changes in skin texture and menstrual irregularities.  There is also an increased risk of liver damage with Anavar use. If one uses this at a high dosage or for a long period of time it can lead to liver damage. There is also a chance that Anavar will increase bad cholesterol and decrease good cholesterol, therefore, cholesterol levels must be monitored with this steroid as well as an active cardiovascular exercise program must be maintained. 

The administration of Anavar is a daily dosage of between 15-25 mg per day for physique or performance enhancing use normally for 6-8 weeks. For females the dosage is between 5-10mg per day.  With regards to Anavar availability it is very hard to find and is limited on the black market. In Mexico, Atlantis produces Xtendrol, which is an oxandrolone product, and this is in the form of a tablet. In Thailand, Bonavar, which is sold by Body Research, is now being sold.

Anavar is a popular steroid and has had a long history dating back to the 60s. It is illegal to buy this product in the USA and UK and is only sold in Mexico and Thailand. The side effects from this steroid vary and should never be discredited, as they can potentially be very dangerous to ones health.
