Testolent, Anabolic Steroid

Testolent is an injectable steroid that is a testosterone preparation containing the fast-acting phenylpropionate ester of testosterone. This steroid is very similar to testosterone propionate, supplying the same hormone delivery, just with a slightly longer time of release from point of injection. It has also been mentioned to be less painful at the site of injection.

First described in a French medical journal in 1955, this compound was developed into a few commercial preparations, most notably Testolent produced in Romania by Sicomed. Primarily used to treat androgen deficiencies in men and occasionally, to treat advanced breast cancer in women.

This form of testosterone has a carboxylic acid ester attached to the 17-beta hydroxyl group. This type of preparation is designed to prolong the window of therapeutic effects following administration and allows for less frequent injections.

The are always going to be side effects when using synthetic testosterone. Testosterone suppression will present itself, so shrinkage of the testes is often encountered.

Testosterone is readily aromatised in the body to estradiol(estrogen). This rise in estradiol is responsible for side effects like gynecomastia(man boobs), fat gain and water retention.

Androgenic side effects will undoubtedly present them selves in a dose dependant manner. Acne, oily skin, hair loss and body/facial hair growth can be expected. In women, the androgenic effects can be permanent and may include enlargement of the clitoris along with facial and body hair growth.

You can not buy steroids such as Testolent  in today’s market as the manufacturers have ceased production. Underground or bogus copies are unlikely also.
