Prostanozol, Anabolic Steroid
Prostanozol is an oral anabolic steroid closely related to winstrol in structure. Derived from dihydrotestosterone with a few modification to aid bio-availability and to allow the drug to be administered orally.
This anabolic steroid is administered orally and finds its way into circulation via the lymphatic route. This means that the steroid bypasses the first destructive pass trough the liver with dietary fats. The ester in this steroid increases the oil solubility and has a much higher success rate when administered.
This steroid, demethlstanozolol, is a fairly new chemical compound. Released in 2005 to the United States sports nutritional market, this was classed as a “post ban” hormone and was being distributed as a dietary supplement.
By late 2005, the FDA and others in government acknowledged that there were new “designer supplements” on the supplement market, and made their intentions on investigating these steroids marketed as supplements.
Anticipating government intervention, the original manufacturers of Prostanozol discontinued the product and discontinued the steroid. Others followed suit and now, it is no longer a steroid for sale.
Unlike Dianabol, this steroid is not aromatised by the body and is not measurably estrogenic. This will produce gains which are ripped and free from water retention, much like the gains seen with the legal steroid Pro Anabolic.
There will be suppression of endogenous testosterone production, as with any anabolic steroid. This imbalance if hormones can lead to changes in libido, decreased sperm count and even noticeable shrinkage of the balls.
As with all pro hormones, their resemblance to steroids from a chemical point of view is identical. They are steroids or precursors of steroids that perform the same function with the same, if not more, side effects.
